The illustrations on HMS Vicky were done by Gordøn Yu. His inspirations for these illustrations were drawn from life, but more specifically Beatrix Potter, a legally-binding contract with King Neptune and the Spice Girls. Graphic design is a passionate hobby for Gordøn, who is a full-time anthropologist. His research focus is on hipsters and the effect of environment on their diet. In 2006, he began an on-site study in a dalmatian tabletop held up by pencil crayons.
